KIMBERLEY, ALBERTA, CANADA, November 4, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Kimberley, in British Columbia, Canada, has won two North American Silver Awards at the 2026 Snomad Ski Resort Awards, for Best for Quiet Slopes and Best Value. The resort also secured Worldwide Bronze for Best for Quiet Slopes. These results are based on ratings from skiers and snowboarders who have visited Kimberley.

Kimberley scored 4.79 out of five for Best for Quiet Slopes and 4.54 for Best Value, placing second in North America in both categories. Its 4.79 rating also earned third place worldwide for Best for Quiet Slopes. The awards recognise the resort’s uncrowded slopes and value for money, as rated by visitors.
Now in their third year, the Snomad Ski Resort Awards are based on 153,854 resort ratings from the 2025/26 ski season. The awards cover 20 categories, including family skiing, value, off-piste, snow parks and après-ski. Winners are determined by first-hand visitor feedback, rather than paid nominations or an industry judging panel.

Kimberley Alpine Resort is pleased to be recognized with two North American Silver Awards for ‘Best for Quiet Slopes’ and’Best Value’, as well as Worldwide Bronze for ‘Quiet Slopes’. It means a great deal to receive recognition directly from the skiers and snowboarders who visit Kimberley Alpine Resort.

“It’s one thing for a resort to say it’s among the best. It’s another for the people who have actually skied there to say it. That’s what makes these awards different. Kimberley has earned its place among the winners through feedback from real skiers and snowboarders, and that is an achievement worth celebrating,” said Dan Lever, founder of Snomad.

Snomad’s rankings take account of average ratings, a minimum qualifying threshold and, to a lesser degree, the volume of ratings. The platform has recorded 377,826 ratings in total. Gold, Silver and Bronze results are published across worldwide, European and North American rankings.
