MAZDA CANADA REPORTS SALES FOR AUGUST 2026

– CX-30 and CX-70 Set August Sales Records as CX-5 Continues Double-Digit Growth-
RICHMOND HILL, ON, Sept. 1, 2026 /CNW/ — Mazda Canada Inc. (MCI) reported sales of 7,592 vehicles in August 2026. The month was highlighted by record August sales performances from the CX-30 and CX-70, continued growth from the all-new CX-5, and sustained year-to-date gains for the CX-90. Through the first eight months of 2026, Mazda Canada has sold 49,694 vehicles, led by strong demand for its SUV lineup.
AUGUST 2026 HIGHLIGHTS:
- The all-new CX-5 remained Mazda Canada’s best-selling vehicle with 3,150 units sold, increasing 15.3 per cent year-over-year and 11.3 per cent year-to-date.
- CX-30 achieved a new August sales record with 1,647 units sold, increasing 2.3 per cent year-over-year.
- CX-70 delivered its strongest August result on record, rising 3.0 per cent year-over-year.
- CX-90 maintained year-to-date growth of 11.6 per cent, with 6,339 units sold through August.
- Mazda’s SUV lineup accounted for more than 80 per cent of August sales volume, led by the CX-5, CX-30, CX-70 and CX-90.
Earlier this summer, Mazda Canada highlighted its Unlimited Mileage Warranty and shared findings from an independent CAA-Québec analysis examining the potential benefits of warranty coverage for Canadians who drive higher-than-average annual distances. As consumers continue to evaluate vehicle ownership costs alongside vehicle capability, Mazda remains focused on delivering premium design, engaging driving dynamics, advanced safety technologies and long-term value for Canadian drivers.
