GrayRobinson Expands Bankruptcy Practice with Addition of Five Seasoned Attorneys

GrayRobinson is pleased to announce the expansion of its Bankruptcy Section with the addition of a team of seasoned attorneys in the Boca Raton office. Coming from a bankruptcy and creditors’ rights firm with more than 40 years of history in South Florida, the five attorneys joining the firm include Robert C. Furr, Alan R. Crane, Jason S. Rigoli, Alvin S. Goldstein, and Jonathan T. Crane.

Furr serves as a panel trustee for the U.S. Trustee Program in the Southern District of Florida, administering bankruptcy estates and pursuing recoveries for creditors in Chapter 7 proceedings. He also represents businesses, individuals, creditors, and fiduciaries in Chapter 11 and Chapter 12 proceedings, business restructurings, receiverships, and commercial litigation, counseling clients across industries including healthcare, real estate, manufacturing, and professional services. Drawing on more than 40 years in practice, he also serves as a mediator in bankruptcy disputes and reorganization matters.

Furr has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America for Bankruptcy and Creditor Debtor Rights/Insolvency and Reorganization Law from 2007-2026, and by Florida Super Lawyers for Bankruptcy from 2006-2026. A fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy and a past president of the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees, he founded the Bankruptcy Committee of the Palm Beach County Bar Association. He is board certified in both business and consumer bankruptcy law by the American Board of Certification. Furr earned his Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts from the University of South Carolina. He is admitted to practice in Florida and Georgia.

Alan R. Crane, Shareholder

Alan has twice received The Florida Bar’s President’s Pro Bono Service Award and has earned numerous pro bono honors from the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County, including its Legacy Award, and has been recognized by Florida Super Lawyers for Bankruptcy from 2017-2026. He is an emeritus member of the American Inns of Court LIV, Craig S. Barnard Chapter. Alan earned his Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University College of Law and his Bachelor of Science from the University of South Florida, and is admitted to practice in Florida and before the U.S. Supreme Court.

Jason S. Rigoli, Shareholder

Rigoli advises businesses, business owners, fiduciaries, and creditors confronting financial distress, insolvency, and business disputes, representing debtors, trustees, and creditors in Chapter 7, Chapter 11 (including Subchapter V), and Chapter 13 proceedings, with a bankruptcy litigation practice that includes significant asset-recovery matters, complex reorganizations, and appellate matters.

Rigoli has been recognized by Florida Super Lawyers for Bankruptcy, Business Litigation, and Creditor Debtor Rights from 2024-2026. Rigoli earned his Juris Doctor from Florida International University College of Law and his Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida. He is admitted to practice in Florida, Colorado, and the District of Columbia, and before the U.S. Supreme Court.

Alvin S. Goldstein, Of Counsel

Goldstein represents debtors, trustees, creditors, creditors’ committees, and debtor-in-possession lenders in Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 proceedings, including business and individual reorganizations. With a background in finance, he evaluates the capital structures and economic realities affecting a business or high-net-worth individual to help clients pursue commercially practical outcomes.

Goldstein has been recognized by Florida Super Lawyers for Bankruptcy from 2019-2026, and has been board-certified in business bankruptcy law by the American Board of Certification for over 25 years. He earned his Juris Doctor cum laude from Boston University School of Law and his Bachelor of Science from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business. He is admitted to practice in Florida and New York.

Jonathan T. Crane, Of Counsel

Jonathan focuses his practice on bankruptcy, restructuring, and insolvency matters, representing individuals, businesses, creditors, and trustees in consumer and business bankruptcy cases, corporate restructurings, assignments for the benefit of creditors, and related disputes.

Jonathan was the recipient of the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County’s 2026 Rising Star Award. He is a member of the Bankruptcy Bar Association’s Financial Literacy Subcommittee and mentored law students in the St. Thomas University College of Law’s Bankruptcy Externship Program from 2023-2025. He earned his Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University College of Law and his Bachelor of Arts from Florida Atlantic University. He is admitted to practice in Florida.
